Carolyn and Colin

I had the great pleasure of second shooting alongside David Tye again, at Carolyn and Colin's wedding, which was held high in the hills at the Flaxton Gardens. What a glorious day for two of the most genuine, down-to-earth, beautiful, and so in love people to tie-the-knot. The connection between Carolyn-Colin, and, Carolyn-Colin and Colin's sons was really touching and brought tears to my eyes on more than one occasion. It was just the perfect, perfect day.

Carla and Ash

You know, when you just know ...

I met up with Carla and Ash after they'd contacted me about shooting their summer '13 wedding, and I knew then they were a special couple. Their romance has blossomed not just across states, but across Australia; and after a brief meeting by chance at a wedding in Perth, Ash knew, just knew, that Carla was his soul mate. So he travelled from (Perth) one side of Australia to the other (Brisbane) to find the love of his life ....

The rest is just a beautiful love story

The 'Younger' ones are not your everyday family, full of fun and madness they were game for anything. We spent the whole session laughing and it seemed like no sooner had it started it was over, and a satisfied sigh chorused from everyone's lips ......

Wedding days are about love, happiness and anticipation, and this wedding had it all... in spades. Assisting the primary Photographer on a day that was last seen in the story of Noah, was more about holding the umbrella over his equipment than snapping away for backup. But everyone embraced the downpour and the party began.
