Chloe and Kel

Chloe and Kel - {engagement session}

A few days before I left Brisbane I had great afternoon in the beautiful Botanical Gardens @ Mt.Cootha with Chloe and Kel. With their wedding round the corner they wanted to be sure to record this special and exciting time.
Chatting and laughing our way around the gardens the session seemed like it took only a few moments. I love watching the expressions on (usually) the guys faces as they realise the whole session was so much easier than they thought and in fact was quite a laugh.

I'm all for relaxed shooting and love providing a great experience, with images that take the clients right back to those special moments. Its a great feeling.

Marly

The gorgeous Marly ...

Being a wedding photographer,  I never seem to get time to just go out on a shoot for fun, although wedding photography is great fun, I mean by this my own fun, and so I've been thinking for ages that I just want to go out, spend some time shooting what I want ...?  just because !!!! ; plus try out a new lens ... what a perfect excuse.

And when I finally got to do it, I had an absolutely fantastic the morning spent with somebody very special to me, doing what I love. Just casual like :) drifting along at our own pace.

Magic :)

We went out with fun in mind, and spent most of the time on the grass verges near home, Marly climbing amongst the undergrowth in her gum boots and me running out of the way of oncoming traffic clutching my camera and stepladder. What a sight ?!

We must have looked really amusing and possibly could have provided a great mornings entertainment to the locals had I advertised the fact.

So may I present a time, a place,  and the beautiful Marly  - whom I thank very much as you were perfectly awesome and so, so patient xx

PS: note the new logo - just working out how to use it best :)
